Please read these terms carefully before engaging UP Solar Line for solar installation services. These terms govern our relationship with you.

Important: These Terms of Service apply to all customers and users of UP Solar Line's website and services. By submitting a quote request, booking a survey, or signing an installation agreement, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing our website (upsolarline.com) or engaging UP Solar Line for solar installation services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms").
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Customer") and UP Solar Line ("Company", "we", "us"). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you should not use our website or services.
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
2. Our Services
UP Solar Line provides the following services in Uttar Pradesh:
⢠Rooftop Solar Installation ā supply and installation of grid-tied solar photovoltaic systems (3kW to 100kW) for residential and commercial properties. ⢠Free Site Survey ā complimentary rooftop assessment and solar feasibility analysis. ⢠Subsidy Assistance ā support with PM Surya Ghar and state government subsidy applications. ⢠Net Metering ā coordination with local DISCOMs for net metering registration. ⢠After-Sales Service ā warranty support, maintenance, and system monitoring.
We reserve the right to refuse service at our discretion, including in cases where site conditions make installation unsafe or unfeasible.
3. Quotations & Proposals
All quotations provided by UP Solar Line are:
⢠Valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. ⢠Estimates ā final pricing may vary based on detailed site survey findings, equipment availability, and applicable taxes. ⢠Subject to site approval ā any quote is contingent on a satisfactory site survey and structural assessment. ⢠Inclusive of GST where explicitly stated. Quotes without GST notation are exclusive of applicable taxes.
We reserve the right to withdraw or revise a quotation before a formal installation agreement is signed.
4. Installation Agreement & Payment
Upon acceptance of our proposal:
Payment Schedule (Standard): ⢠40% advance payment at the time of agreement signing. ⢠50% payment prior to or on the day of installation commencement. ⢠10% balance payment upon successful commissioning and handover.
EMI Financing: ⢠EMI options are provided through our partner banks and NBFCs. Approval is subject to the lender's credit assessment. UP Solar Line does not guarantee loan approval. ⢠EMI terms, interest rates, and processing fees are governed by the lending institution's agreement.
Payment Methods: Bank transfer (NEFT/RTGS/IMPS), UPI, cheque. Cash payments above ā¹2,000 are not accepted per Indian law.
5. Warranty Terms
UP Solar Line provides the following warranties:
Solar Panels: ⢠25-year performance warranty (minimum 80% output at Year 25) ā from panel manufacturer. ⢠10-year product warranty against manufacturing defects ā from panel manufacturer.
Inverter: 5-year warranty (extendable) from inverter manufacturer.
Installation & Workmanship: 10-year warranty from UP Solar Line covering mounting structure integrity, wiring connections, and workmanship defects.
Exclusions ā Warranties do not cover: ⢠Damage from natural disasters (floods, cyclones, hail, earthquakes, lightning). ⢠Damage from wilful neglect, tampering, or unauthorised modifications. ⢠Normal degradation within manufacturer-specified limits. ⢠Damage caused by grid fluctuations or utility-side issues.
To claim warranty service, contact us with your installation reference number and a description of the issue.
6. Customer Responsibilities
As a customer, you are responsible for:
⢠Site Access ā providing safe and timely access to your property for survey, installation, and maintenance visits. ⢠Structural Suitability ā ensuring your rooftop is structurally sound. We may decline to install if the roof does not meet safety standards. ⢠Regulatory Compliance ā obtaining any necessary permissions from your housing society, municipality, or local authority before installation. ⢠Accurate Information ā providing accurate information about your electricity consumption, roof details, and property ownership. ⢠DISCOM Account ā maintaining an active electricity connection and account with your local DISCOM. ⢠Net Metering Application ā cooperating with the net metering application process, including providing required documents to the DISCOM. ⢠System Maintenance ā basic upkeep such as periodic panel cleaning (or engaging our paid maintenance service).
7. Subsidy & Government Incentives
Regarding PM Surya Ghar and other government subsidies:
⢠Subsidy amounts are determined by the Government of India and are subject to change without notice. ⢠UP Solar Line assists with subsidy applications but does not guarantee subsidy approval or disbursement timelines. ⢠Subsidy is disbursed directly into the customer's bank account by the government ā not via UP Solar Line. ⢠Delays or rejections in subsidy applications due to incomplete documentation provided by the customer are not the Company's responsibility. ⢠Changes to government subsidy policy after contract signing are outside UP Solar Line's control and cannot be used as grounds for contract revision.
8. Cancellation & Refund Policy
Cancellation by Customer: ⢠Before site survey: Full refund of any advance paid. ⢠After site survey, before installation: Advance refunded minus ā¹1,000āā¹3,000 survey/processing fee. ⢠After installation commencement: Refund of advance minus costs incurred (materials ordered, labour deployed). Minimum 20% of contract value is non-refundable. ⢠After installation completion: No refund. All post-installation issues are handled under warranty.
Cancellation by UP Solar Line: ⢠If we determine the site is unsuitable or if circumstances beyond our control prevent service delivery, a full refund of any advance paid will be issued within 15 business days.
Refund Processing: Approved refunds are processed within 15 business days via the original payment method.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
⢠UP Solar Line's total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim. ⢠We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profit, loss of savings, or business interruption. ⢠We are not liable for electricity generation shortfalls due to weather, shading from new constructions, grid downtime, or DISCOM issues. ⢠Performance estimates provided in proposals are based on standard calculations and historical data ā actual generation may vary by ±15%.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death, personal injury caused by our negligence, or fraudulent misrepresentation.
10. Intellectual Property
All content on upsolarline.com ā including text, images, logos, designs, and software ā is the intellectual property of UP Solar Line and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content without our prior written consent. Quotations, proposals, and system designs provided to you are for your personal use only and may not be shared with competitors.
11. Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute:
1. Informal Resolution ā Contact us first. We are committed to resolving disputes amicably within 30 days. 2. Mediation ā If informal resolution fails, disputes may be referred to mediation by a mutually agreed mediator. 3. Arbitration ā Disputes not resolved by mediation shall be settled by binding arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, with the seat of arbitration in Lucknow. 4. Jurisdiction ā These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh shall have exclusive jurisdiction for any legal proceedings.
